| I am so glad that there are these kind of people still left in the world...
Today, I was opening facebook and someone left a message about picking
up my lab notes. I was like "wtf? now they send spams about lab notes?"
So curious me, opened the message and my lab notebook to see. I WAS
missing my notes. So I messaged the guy to call me.
My phone rings and the guy calls, asking me where he would like to meet
so he could give me the notes back. We meet and I ask him where he
found my notes. He said Aldrich Park.
WOW...This guy picked up some random papers lying on the ground which
most people wouldn't, searched me on facebook, and left me a message to
give me back my notes. I truly thank the world for people like this
guy...I want to be more like and do things like this...

| As the second hand ticks by on the clock, spring break ticks by right before our eyes...
Depressing, isn't it?
Well as the days get closer to back to school day, I sit here, having enough time to write in my xanga.
Spring break should of consisted of me going up to Nor Cal, but things happened and I got to spend it in an alternative way...
Day 1
After much resistance, failed to being dragged to the bath house. I
think I had enough of naked korean women in one day...But it wasn't too
bad when I got to have fun with my sisters as we betted each other who
can sit the longest in the 30 degree glacial tub. Plus watching my
sisters grimaced as I scrubbed them pink was entertaining
too...muahahaha
Day 2
Became a bear and hibernated in the whole day in my mom's heated bed.
Day 3
Had to deal with crazy, sugar high 4th graders as I was begged by my
youngest sister to be docent "mother" (sister in my case) for her field
trip to the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History. Dinosaurs, Mammals,
birds, gold rush, you name it...i saw it all...with wired 4th graders.
I swear, this one kid asked me what a certain fossil was a print of. It
was a print of a camel's toe, so i told her a camel's toe and she
looked at me like omg wat did u just say and in her pitched voice said
, " A CAMEL TOE?" OMG, wat is wrong with kids these days??
Allie called and got to spend some quality time eating shaved ice and dduk bok gee with my best friend during the evening.
Day 4
Consisted of hibernating and finishing Angels and Demon. I still have
to say I liked Da Vinci Code better. The movie is coming out! YAY!
Day 5
Met up with Lizzy and drove to LA to visit LACMA. But when we got
there, we found out the museum doesn't open till 12. But no fear. The
nice Jamaican man told us there was a farmer's market down the street,
so lizzy and I decided to head over. After a few left turns, U-turns,
and fuming me, we got there and the trouble to get there was worth it
because we not only found the huge farmer's market but also the GROVE!
The place was really nice. Kind of like spectrum but in a Venetian/New
York fusion motif. Found farmer's market and got kinda of hungry so ate
omelette, bagel, and a Wetzel Pretzel (as you see food, keep track of
how much we ate). Drove over to lacma and tried to interpret the art
piece as we imagined what the hell the artists were smoking when they
painted the picture. I thought the special exhibit was hilarious. It
was Mryzyk & Moriceau and Felicien Rops Art Exhibit. I really liked
the style as they painted in black across the walls and the pictures
grew and shrunk in corners and light sockets. But the pictures painted
was a bit questionable. The sign before we entered warned us of adult
content and boy, was the sign right! Pictures of mutated penises
and vaginas, a monster doing My Little Pony, a woman giving buildings
blowjobs...on and on with the sexual depictions of the artists's mind.
I thought I found one without any sexual content but the title spoiled
it. Title..."Mother Superior and Dildo" OH AHM GEE...hahahhaha Spent 2.5 hours till our feet and throats gave out, so headed out to k-town. Stopped by Cafe Loft first because somebody
told me they served shaved ice, but hells no! They never served shaved
ice since their opening and their drinks are 7 dollars!! WTF?! 7
DOLLARS?! so ran out of the place and went to Galleria. Bought bread
and walked around the market to help Lizzy find the Kimchi dumplings
she liked so much. Ate samples counting the soy milk that tasted like
breast milk. Smart Liz waited till I took a sip first...Bought chips
and soda and ate it while we talked and rested our aching feet. Then
went to Otis to see Liz's friend and eat Jambalya and corn bread at
their New Orlean's festival. I was really amazed as I saw the art works
starting from toys to graffitti made from scratch by these people.
Amazed...truly amazed. OH OH!! You know the movie The Incredibles?
According to Liz, the students of Otis helped make that movie and the
weird designer lady in the big glasses was based off of a professor
there. And guess what! I saw her!! Lizzy and I were looking at
sculptures and this woman who had big round glasses walked by and was
talking to students with the voice just like the character from the
movie saying, "Oooooo tat is wonderful! It is magnificient!" Hahahaha
disney character in real person....
Day 6
Packed up and came back to school since it starts soon and here i am typing my xanga away.
